Jazmine’s practice focuses on appellate litigation, complex civil litigation, civil rights litigation, media and entertainment litigation, and white collar defense and government investigations.
Before joining Larson, Jazmine served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Johnnie B. Rawlinson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In this position, Jazmine routinely strengthened her research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. She worked on numerous cases spanning a variety of legal practice areas, including commercial, media and entertainment, class action, labor and employment, and civil rights.
In law school, Jazmine was an articles editor for the UNLV Gaming Law Journal and a research assistant to Professors Frank Rudy Cooper and Addie Rolnick, and externed for the Hon. James C. Mahan, Senior United States District Judge for the District of Nevada. Jazmine also worked at two large trial firms, as a student attorney for Boyd’s
Policing and Protesting Clinic, and as a corporate intern. In addition to her educational and professional achievements, Jazmine served as president of the Black Law Students Association and a class representative of the Student Bar Association.
Prior to law school, Jazmine attended Weber State University on an athletic scholarship and played NCAA Division I Women’s softball for four years. While at Weber, she was recognized as “Outstanding Graduate” of the Communications-Civic Advocacy Department and graduated cum laude.
In her free time, Jazmine enjoys attending Dodgers games, spending quality time with family and friends, and exploring new hobbies and restaurants.
