David Byrne handles all aspects of investigations in his specialized litigation and regulatory practice.
With over 40 years of experience, he serves as counsel to corporate and institutional clients in a broad range of commercial, regulatory, and criminal investigations and litigation across the globe.
A solicitor of England and Wales, David is well-recognized in the field of Inland Revenue, Customs, and Excise investigations. He represents companies and individuals in national and international fraud cases and regulatory investigations, including those brought by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), and Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
David previously co-founded a boutique litigation and regulatory firm where he practiced for almost two decades. Prior to launching his own firm, David was the head of the litigation and investigations practice at Dechert LLP in London. Of Counsel at Larson, David is not licensed to practice law in California or any other jurisdiction of the U.S. and works exclusively on the firm’s international matters.
