Bobby Rimas utilizes his analytical skills and diverse experiences within the legal industry to support and contribute to the litigation and trial teams at Larson through complex civil litigation and white collar defense matters.
Prior to joining Larson, Bobby had over 17 years of experience as a paralegal for a large regional bank, where he assisted the legal department with employment law, subpoena compliance, intellectual property law, employment-based immigration, and human resources compliance matters. He was also previously a paralegal for an international law firm that specializes in employment-based immigration and compliance services. While in his past paralegal positions, Bobby served as a part-time associate professor and adjunct instructor of various paralegal courses at colleges and universities in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
During his time at the regional bank, Bobby served as president, board advisor and Pro Bono & Community Services Committee co-chair for the Los Angeles Paralegal Association, which awarded him the Outstanding Leadership Award. He also served as a member of the NALA – The Paralegal Association’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and was awarded the NALA Affiliate Award “for outstanding contributions to the advancement of the paralegal profession.”
Outside of law, Bobby volunteers with various chapters of the UCLA Alumni Association and as a board member for the UCLA Lambda Alumni Association. He previously served as the chair, president, and scholarship director for the UCLA Pilipino Alumni Association. Through these roles, Bobby spearheaded several UCLA alumni events that raised scholarship money for deserving students. Currently, he serves as the vice president of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization. In his spare time, Bobby enjoys discovering new restaurants, going to the movies, visiting Palm Springs whenever possible, and going to the beach.
