Anahit Sargsyan is an astute litigator who focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and white collar defense.
Before joining Larson, Anahit was an associate at a public law firm, where she worked on litigation, elections, state legislation, ethics, and conflict of interest matters. She served as lead associate on civil rights litigation matters and assisted with internal investigations. Anahit also handled compliance matters and provided Brown Act and ethical compliance trainings for public officials.
Anahit gained broad legal experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit during law school. She also worked as a graduate student instructor for the Freedom of Communication course at UCLA, which focuses on First Amendment litigation matters.
An avid interest in public policy led Anahit to work as a legislative aide at the California State Senate before pursuing her career in law. In that role, she drafted legislative proposals, staffed multiple legislative committees, and served as an assigned consultant for a senate select committee.
