Ben Falstein combines an ability to formulate novel legal strategies with a passion for trial advocacy to successfully resolve his clients’ most pressing legal matters.

His practice focuses on complex civil litigation and white collar defense.

Prior to joining Larson, Ben was a litigation fellow at a public interest law firm in Washington, D.C., where he represented clients before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). He handled a diverse array of legal matters including securities fraud, Dodd Frank Act and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, tax crimes, and environmental-related violations. Ben also assisted in administrative rulemaking before various federal agencies and worked closely with lawmakers and SEC commissioners to advance financial crime detection mechanisms.

While in law school, Ben served as an executive editor of the Georgetown Law Journal and helped produce the 50th edition of the Journal’s Annual Review of Criminal Procedure––one of the nation’s foremost treatises on criminal law. He served as a law clerk with the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and worked as a summer associate at a prominent plaintiffs’ firm in California where he focused exclusively on False Claims Act litigation. Outside of his law practice, Ben is an avid cyclist and enjoys exploring the diverse landscapes of Southern California.
