Tyler Franklin’s deliberate and solution-oriented approach to litigation, coupled with his dedication to detail and competitive spirit, delivers optimal results for his clients. As a trial lawyer, Tyler understands not only how to navigate complex factual and legal issues, but also how to carefully craft compelling narratives that appeal to fairness and common sense.
Having represented clients across a breadth of industries and subject matters, Tyler’s diverse experience informs his adaptive and creative style. His practice includes complex civil, appellate, media and entertainment, and intellectual property litigation, as well as white collar criminal defense matters.
Prior to joining Larson, Tyler worked for a respected litigation boutique in Century City, where he gained significant experience representing private investment, entertainment, financial services, product-sourcing, real estate development, and consumer products companies; high-net-worth individuals; and artists, performers, and entertainment industry professionals in high-stakes disputes in state and federal courts. Among his achievements, Tyler was on the litigation team representing a television programmer in a breach of contract, copyright infringement, and declaratory judgment action against a major U.S. pay television distributor. His skilled advocacy contributed to successfully opposing multiple requests for injunctive relief and prevailing in discovery disputes.
During law school, Tyler was selected for the Hale Moot Court Honors Program, where he served as vice chair of administration. He also volunteered with and served as the director of policy and events for the International Refugee Assistance Project, a nonprofit organization connecting law students with practicing attorneys to provide aid to refugees seeking asylum in the U.S.
Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys photography, golf, and English Premier League soccer.
