Partner Alex Lowder and counsel Jen C. Won are recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as among the top minority attorneys in the city for 2021.
The “Minority Leaders of Influence: Attorneys” special section honors the region’s most outstanding lawyers from underrepresented backgrounds in the legal profession. They are, as highlighted in the publication, “particularly impactful on the legal scene, while serving as trusted advisors, along with maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.”
Alex’s profile outlines his white collar criminal defense and commercial litigation practices. Los Angeles Business Journal mentions his work in complex breach of contract matters, product liability actions, and civil rights disputes. Alex is noted for his criminal experience with representing individuals and corporations in federal and state investigations and prosecutions, including at trial. His decade-long position on the Board of Directors of the University of San Diego School of Law Alumni Association is also highlighted.
Jen’s profile features her work on many of Larson LLP’s high-profile, sensitive investigations for corporate clients facing regulatory challenges. She regularly defends individual clients in federal and state criminal investigations, and she has successfully negotiated favorable outcomes with the government on her clients’ behalf. Jen’s civil litigation of note includes managing a portfolio of litigation matters for fintech and energy clients. She is recognized for being “especially apt to tackle a complex legal problem and develop a winning strategy.”
Larson LLP congratulates Alex, Jen, and all of this year’s nominees on being recognized among the “superb legal professionals” of 2021.
